More food for fewer dollars: 10 best budget-friendly Las Vegas restaurants

Las Vegas’ restaurant scene attracts food lovers from everywhere, and it’s not just the high-end restaurants getting the buzz. If you’re looking for something a little more wallet-friendly, there’s no need to sacrifice taste while you’re in town. Restaurants off the Strip have the edge for the best deals, but there are still good values to be found on the Strip as well.
Downtown Las Vegas and Chinatown are full of small, locally owned restaurants with food prices that will let you fill you up without costing too much. Le Thai in Downtown Las Vegas offers a menu of delicious dishes for very reasonable prices. Their lunch menu features a $9.95 special with a main dish, rice and a drink, which is a tough deal to beat no matter what part of town you’re in.
On the Strip, look for lunch specials and happy hours to score good food deals. Casual eateries also offer some terrific values, like China Poblano, where the menu encompasses both Chinese and Mexican favorites, all priced reasonably. Venture toward the north end of the Strip and you’ll find the beloved Tacos el Gordo, where you can satisfy late-night cravings for Tijuana style street tacos, or stop in at the Peppermill, where the portions are huge and the vibe is pure 70s.
