Eataly isn’t a restaurant–it’s a food experience, an Italian marketplace featuring plenty of places to browse or stop for a bite, coffee or a drink. Eataly brings together restaurants, several casual counters and bars, a market and a wine shop. A full calendar of tours, cooking classes, wine and beverage tastings along with specialty dinners provide an abundance of food-centric things to do. A stop at Cucina del Mercato gives you the chance to experience “counter-to-table,” fresh counters where you shop and then watch the experts prepare your purchase. Among the many stops at Eataly, you’ll find shops and restaurants featuring pizza, pasta, coffee, and many other delicious specialties.

After a hard day of sight-seeing on the Strip or shopping at the Fashion Show Mall, Stripburger & Chicken will give you a place to refuel and take in a view of the Strip. The restaurant is all-outdoors, and its Strip-side location allow you to indulge in some people watching while you enjoy a classic burger, cheeseburger, or chicken sandwich. The mini burger sampler gives you three small burgers–the blue cheese, the whiskey barbeque and the cheddar burger–perfect for sharing. The menu offers diners plenty of chicken sandwiches and jumbo tenders. You’ll also find appetizers, a cocktail menu, adult shakes and a selection of beers.

Estiatorio Milos features fine Greek food, and that includes incredibly fresh seafood. The seafood is sourced from around the world and prepared flavorfully in a Mediterranean style. Guests will find dishes like the grilled octopus, which comes with capers, onions and Santorini fava, as well as calamari, prawns and crab cakes–to name just a few of the many seafood and fish dishes. Fresh seafood and fish take center stage here, including whole grilled fish, lobster, salmon or tuna. Guests can also enjoy a raw bar, and lunch selections include a three-course prix fixe option. For those who aren’t interested in seafood or fish, lamb and beef are also available. A serene, beautifully designed interior complements the memorable food.

Hussong’s Cantina at Mandalay Bay almost feels like you’re on Spring Break: live music, plenty of great beer and some terrific food. It’s a casual, easy-going atmosphere with dishes like tacos, fajitas, carne asada, flautas, burritos and chimichangas. One of the most interesting things about Hussong’s is its history. The location at Mandalay Bay was the first franchise of the original Hussong’s Cantina, which was established in 1892 in Baja, Mexico–the same place that bills itself as the place where the Margarita was invented. Naturally, this means that Hussong’s Las Vegas has a selection of specialty Margaritas, like the Cadillac Margarita (Hornitos Reposado and Grand Marnier), or the Blackberry Splash Margarita, with freshly muddled blackberries and ginger liqueur.

The Grand Lux Cafe is a sister to The Cheescake Factory, and the family resemblance is most obvious when you look at the very large menu. The tremendous number of mouth-watering choices can make it tough to decide what to have, and the comfortable, relaxed setting is a great choice for casual meals. Come for pastries and omelets in the morning, and enjoy selections from either the lunch or dinner menu from 11 a.m. through the rest of the day. Choose from several types of hamburgers (plus veggie and turkey burgers), an array of sandwiches, pastas, steaks and appetizers that can stand alone as a small meal. You’ll also find coffee drinks, plenty of cheesecake, and friendly service.

Featuring a terrific view of the pool at Wynn Las Vegas, the Terrace Pointe Café at Wynn offers breakfast, brunch and lunch diners a lovely setting plus a wide choice of dishes. Terrace Point offers a selection of breakfast and brunch favorites, like steak and eggs, omelettes and chicken and waffles. The breakfast menu is served all day. For lunch, choose from appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and entrees. Look for menu items like Asian Chicken Salad, smoked turkey panini, Chilean Sea Bass and miso salmon. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and the atmosphere throughout is upscale and refined, no matter where you’re seated.

Food courts are ubiquitous along the Strip, but the new Block 16 Urban Food Hall at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas takes the concept up a notch. A variety of restaurants and bars gives diners a well-rounded roster of dining options. The interestingly named District: Donuts. Sliders. Brew. hails from New Orleans and the name alone gives you a glimpse of what you’ll find on the menu, although the choices go beyond doughnuts, sliders or beer. Hattie B’s Hot Chicken will satisfy any hankerings for Southern food and fried chicken, plus they serve local beer. Lardo offers sandwiches (primarily pork). Tekka Bar: Handroll & Sake features handrolls prepared at the counter and a selection of sake. The new Bāng Bar by Momofuku offers Chef David Chang’s take on grilled flatbread sandwiches, rice bowls, spit-roasted meats and sides.

The casual Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips is one of several restaurants along the Linq Promenade, and it features traditional British food from well-known Chef Ramsay. The small, take-out style eatery has a simple menu featuring fish and chips, as you’d expect. Sausage, shrimp and chicken are also offered, and domestic and imported beers are available. As you’re walking through the Promenade, it’s easy to spot the restaurant, with its red doors and distinctly British appearance. It’s also hard to miss the large wooden fish painted with a Union Jack on the sign. Service is quick and efficient, although there’s not a lot of seating. If you can, grab a seat on the patio and do some people watching while you eat.

It’s fitting that the re-created St. Mark’s square in the Venetian should have a great Italian restaurant, and BRERA Osteria meets that requirement. With a lovely dining area that offers a top-notch people watching position (as well as a view of the entertainment in St. Mark’s Square) and a menu full of delicious Italian dishes, BRERA has gained rapid acclaim. Fare like the Risotto Milanese, dry-aged steaks and branzino are standouts, but the menu is full of tempting choices. Starters include bruschetta, meatballs and carpaccio. A small selection of brunch dishes like Eggs Benedict are also offered. For the main course, look for pasta choices, seafood, lamb chops, eggplant, steaks and a roasted half chicken. Chef Angelo Auriana took inspiration from family Sunday dinners, and the menu reflects a hearty, homemade quality.

One of the Strip’s most notable dining experiences at any time of day, Mon Ami Gabi is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Known for its Strip-front patio facing the Fountains of Bellagio, the classic French bistro boasts one of the best people-watching spots in town. Lunchtime favorites include the restaurant’s trademark steak frites, the onion soup au gratin with bubbling baked Gruyere and the heavenly baked goat cheese. To complement the cuisine, an extensive selection of more than 80 boutique French wine varietals–handpicked by Gabino Sotelino himself–are served by the glass or bottle from the restaurant’s signature rolling wine cart.
