The Boston Children’s Museum is a local favorite. Exhibits focus on science, culture, environmental awareness, health & fitness, and the arts, and all encourage kids to interact (via touch). Castle Island is a twenty two acre urban park located along the waterfront and home to Fort Independence. With many paths for walking, biking or running as well as a playground and beaches, Castle Island allows visitors to see a Boston attraction and relax on one of their urban beaches that draw crowds of locals during the summer. With a clam shack on site (Sullivan’s) you can stay through lunch and enjoy all that castle Island has to offer including the excellent view of Logan making it the perfect place for plane lovers to watch both take offs and landing.

The Lawn on D has quickly become a hot spot for outdoor entertainment in Boston. From artsy looking swing to live music and even an inner city celebration of winter, Lawn on D is the place for gathering. The summer and winter of 2014 brought 30,000 visitors to Lawn on D. The summer 2015 season promises to be just as exciting. Reopening on May 15, 2015, the Lawn on D celebrates summer starting at 5pm. Swing Time returns along with ArtLAB’s WonderLAND exhibit. Food trucks will find themselves vying for spots in Lawn on D’s lot where they’ll serve visitors a varied selection of eats from some of the city’s best. Unique to Lawn on D is the tented bar, complete with tables for chatting that brings the 21+ crowd here for all kinds of events. Other fun Lawn on D finds include a massive inflatable maze Pentalum (May 28-31), and two already scheduled ticketed musical events.

Laugh Boston is a 300 seat, state-of-the-art spot for comedy. Featuring both national and local acts wednesday-Saturday, you’ll find the comedians you want to see on the stage at Laugh Boston. Offering a full bar and a quick serve menu consisting of simple food like sandwiches, appetizers and salads you can eat, drink and catch a show all under one roof. Laugh Boston can be booked for group and private events.
Laugh Boston’s medium sized theater allows comics who sell out small clubs, but can’t fill large theaters the chance to get on a stage that’s just the right size.

The HarborWalk winds through the city’s waterfront, passing through many neighborhoods along the way. Blue Hills Bank Pavilion is a Seaport District entertainment venue that offers seasonal entertainment when the weather warms. You’ll enjoy concerts on the harbor in this 5,000 seat venue; one of the largest in the area. Blue Hills Bank Pavilion’s line-up runs May through September and features top performers of various genres. With a high end sound system, exquisite lighting capabilities and Harboside venue make an experience you won’t soon forget. Those who like things a bit more intimate can buy their way into the 500 person VIP tent. With 35+ concession areas on site, your wait for a refill will be minimal.
