Eat out without breaking the bank at these Las Vegas restaurants

The restaurant scene in Las Vegas features a wide range of cuisines and price points. While the Strip is home to scores of exclusive, upscale eateries, Las Vegas also has loads of budget-friendly restaurants.
Many hotel casinos offer food courts, and visitors will find plenty of familiar fast-food stops along the Strip. Lunch specials and happy hours are also good ways to find cheap eats. At China Poblano at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the menu encompasses both Chinese and Mexican favorites, all at reasonable prices—and they offer a daily happy hour. If you’re craving tacos in particular, you might want to venture toward the north end of the Strip where you’ll find the immensely popular Tacos el Gordo, well-known for its tasty and inexpensive Tijuana-style street tacos.
Away from the Strip, downtown Las Vegas and Chinatown are full of small, locally owned restaurants serving moderately priced dishes. Le Thai in downtown Las Vegas offers a terrific lunch special for $10.95 that includes a main dish, rice and a drink, all served in a relaxed, welcoming space. No need to get dressed up here, but be sure to bring your appetite.
